Shelby reads and writes more than any sane person should. She is a wedding photographer, veggie burger snob and unabashed fan of Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls and The Golden Girls. She considers the Alamo Drafthouse her home away from home. Now that she’s in her late 20s, she’s a little embarrassed by her undying love for teen movies and YA fiction, so she prefers to consider it research for her future career as a screenwriter and novelist. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a fetish for copy-editing.
