Five Things We Love This Week

This week we’ve really enjoyed some interesting online news on subjects ranging from Hitchcock to “The Dark Knight Rises.”

In fact, this unique MTV.com article about Christopher Nolan’s last installment of the “Dark Knight” trilogy focuses on Nolan’s preference to cast well-known actors in bit parts. It’s an interesting read.

We were also intrigued by a Movie Talk article that speculates about Alfred Hitchcock’s infatuation with blonde leading ladies. It’s definitely something to mull over, no matter which side of the issue you’re on.

And we’re over the moon about one of our fav Time Lords joining the cast of the Thor sequel, but we’re not so thrilled about Kristen Stewart having the audacity to cheat on Robert Pattinson with “Snow White and the Huntsmen” director Rupert Sanders. Ick! But we are extremely pleased that Pattinson has packed his bags and left according to this article in “People.” There is also a hilarious “Conan” clip where Will Ferrell calls her a Trampire that you can see here.

But if you still need cheering up, you won’t be able to help but smile while watching Walk the Moon’s unplugged cover of “Maps” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
