Vote for your favorite couple!
Posted under: Last month, we wrote about the free wedding giveaway the ZACH Theatre is doing in conjunction with their upcoming production of “Our Town.”
Now it’s time for you to vote for your favorite couple to win a free wedding on the set of the play. The ZACH Theatre folks have narrowed it down to four couples, and you can watch their video submissions here or just watch the videos below.
Scott and Taylor
I love the Photoshopped movie posters (“Ghettotar” made me nearly spit out my water), and the song is sweet too. And who wouldn’t love a Taco Bell hot sauce proposal?
Marshall and Alicia
The interviews are adorable here, and it’s so cute to see how the couple interacts together.
Reid and Jen
This one made me cry. You’ve got to love a surprise proposal!
Chas and Gerardo
They sound like such an Austin couple – a musician and an environmental crusader. The shots of them around the city are beautiful.

This are all great! I would be happy if any of these picks win. The surprise proposal is such great footage – he’s adorably nervous and when she starts to catch on to what’s happening she starts breathing really fast. My favorite might have to be the last one though, a “pretty far from normal” couple that’s quintessentially Austin. How great would that be to introduce their families for the first time at a production of “Our Town”?
